Enhancing Clearway’s CCTV Towers with Durable Vinyl Branding
When Clearway, a trusted provider of mobile CCTV towers, approached us, they wanted their product to do more than protect—it needed to be seen. Each tower features a large cowling that not only shields sensitive electronics from harsh weather but also serves as a striking visual deterrent and an advertisement for Clearway’s security services.
The Design Challenge
Clearway were unable to provide technical drawings for the cowling, so we began by taking precise physical measurements. Each cowling consists of two sections, each around one metre tall and eighty centimetres wide. Unlike a flat surface, the moulded plastic features several angles and contours, making the design process both technical and creative. Every curve and edge had to be mapped carefully to ensure the artwork would fit perfectly once applied.
Creating the Artwork
We developed the artwork through a detailed digital process that accounted for every change in surface shape. By carefully adapting the design to suit the 3D form, we ensured that Clearway’s branding elements aligned seamlessly. This stage highlighted how vinyl branding can be tailored to fit even the most complex structures while maintaining a professional, high-impact appearance.
Printing and Application
Once approved, we printed the graphics using a robust seven-year vinyl, chosen for its durability and long-term performance. Each piece was laminated for added protection against weathering and UV exposure. Our installation team then applied the vinyl branding to the curved cowlings with precision, ensuring clean alignment and a flawless finish.
The Final Result
The completed project transformed each CCTV tower into a bold, recognisable symbol of security and professionalism. The vinyl branding not only strengthens Clearway’s visibility on-site but also turns each tower into a powerful piece of marketing.
